case packer manufacturers

Case Packer Sourcing coordinates comparable quotations from case packer manufacturers. We do not operate a factory, keep a certified vendor list, or present maker authorization. The sample-trial stage below is how we keep robotic pick cells and wrap-around forming quotes on the same trial basis before anyone signs a purchase order.

Service stage and responsibilities

Sample trial

Sample trial: Upstream
The buyer ships representative products and cases, including the weakest pack and any wrap-around blank that will be contracted. State grouping method, infeed height and whether case erection is already on the line. Manufacturers cannot guess flap stiffness from a photograph of a sealed retail case.
Control boundary
The factory names the gripper or forming tools used, the recovery after a failed pick, and whether incomplete groups are held, recycled or discharged. PLC interface signals for “case present” and “group complete” belong in the trial protocol, not in a later commissioning email.
Downstream
Trial notes must record insertion without snagging flaps, the finished pattern before sealing, leftover products and incorrectly completed cases. FAT can use supplier cases only if SAT later repeats the same protocol with buyer cases; mixing those records hides tooling risk.

Assumptions every manufacturer must quote in writing include: pack matrix, products/minute and cases/minute test conditions, who supplies case erection and flap control at loading, tooling for each SKU, installation, shipping, training, commissioning, spare parts and whether software licenses are included. Unnamed extras are treated as excluded.

When two factories return different trial methods, we ask both to restate cycle time on the least rigid pack and to identify format parts for every contracted configuration. That restatement is a comparison aid; it is not a performance guarantee from Case Packer Sourcing.
